decorating a new space can be so inspiring. the bare walls, the empty shelves and the open spaces just waiting to be filled... but when you've just moved and are on a strict budget, doing projects yourself can be the only option.
these are some projects that i've found on the web over the last couple weeks - they're so beautiful, unique & look relatively easy to do. the best part? they add a little character to your life and to your space.

love this round up! i've got a couple of diy projects lined up, one of them half done! i'm just so bad at finding the time to get them done. that chalk board is so cute!
